Once upon a time, in a sky filled with twinkling stars, there was a tiny star named Luma. Unlike the other stars that shone brightly, Luma was small and not as sparkly. She had a big dream—to be the brightest star in the sky.
One night, Luma saw the Moon glowing beautifully. She asked, "Moon, how can I shine as brightly as you?"
The Moon smiled kindly. "You don’t need to be the brightest, little one. Just shine in your own way."
But Luma wanted to do more. She asked the clouds, "Can you help me shine?"
The clouds chuckled. "We can’t make you shine, but we can move aside so others can see your glow!"
Luma was still unsure, so she asked the Sun, "How can I be as bright as you?"
The Sun beamed warmly. "True brightness comes from kindness and joy. Help others, and your light will grow."
Luma thought about this and decided to help where she could. She guided lost fireflies at night, comforted a lonely owl, and even helped a little girl make a wish on her twinkle.
As Luma spread kindness, she noticed something magical—she was shining brighter than ever! She realized that true brightness comes not from being the biggest but from bringing light to others.
From that night on, Luma wasn’t just a tiny star—she was the star that made others shine, and that made her the brightest of all.
Moral: Helping others makes your own light
shine the brightest!
