One day, a mighty lion was sleeping under a tree in the jungle. A little mouse was playing nearby and accidentally ran over the lion's paw. The lion woke up and roared angrily. He caught the mouse and said, "How dare you disturb my sleep? I will eat you up!"
The mouse was terrified and begged for mercy. "Please spare me, Mr. Lion. I did not mean to wake you up. You are so big and strong, and I am so small and weak. Please let me go. Maybe someday I can help you in return."
The lion laughed at the mouse's words. "You help me? How can a tiny mouse help a mighty lion? You are nothing but a snack for me. But I am feeling generous today, so I will let you go. But don't ever bother me again." He opened his paw and let the mouse run away.
The mouse was very grateful and thanked the lion. He ran back to his hole and hoped to never see the lion again.
A few days later, the lion was hunting for food in the jungle. He saw a deer and chased after it. But he did not notice that there was a hunter nearby, who had set a trap for the lion. As the lion ran, he got caught in a net and fell to the ground. He tried to free himself, but the net was too strong. He roared and struggled, but it was no use.
The hunter heard the lion's roar and came closer. He was happy to see that he had caught the king of the jungle. He said, "I have been waiting for this day for a long time. I will sell your skin and make a lot of money. You are my prize catch."
The lion felt hopeless and wished he had someone to help him. He thought of his friends in the jungle, but none of them were nearby. He realized that he was alone and helpless.
Meanwhile, the mouse heard the lion's roar and recognized his voice. He remembered how the lion had spared his life and decided to repay his kindness. He ran towards the sound and saw the lion trapped in the net. He said, "Don't worry, Mr. Lion. I am here to help you. You saved my life, and now I will save yours."
The lion was surprised to see the mouse. He said, "You? How can you help me? You are too small to do anything."
The mouse said, "Trust me, Mr. Lion. I have a plan. Just stay calm and quiet." He then started to gnaw at the net with his sharp teeth. He cut through the ropes one by one, until he made a hole big enough for the lion to escape.
The lion was amazed by the mouse's courage and cleverness. He said, "Thank you, little mouse. You have proved that size does not matter. You have a big heart and a great spirit. You have helped me more than anyone else. You are a true friend."
The mouse said, "You are welcome, Mr. Lion. You have also shown me that kindness is never wasted. You have treated me with respect and compassion. You are a noble king."
The lion and the mouse hugged each other and became friends. They realized that they had a lot to learn from each other. They decided to help each other and live in peace and harmony.
The hunter came back with a knife and a rope, ready to kill the lion. But he was shocked to see that the lion was gone and the net was torn. He saw the lion and the mouse standing together, smiling at him. He realized that he had made a big mistake. He dropped his weapons and ran away, never to return.
The lion and the mouse celebrated their victory and thanked each other. They went back to their homes and told their families and friends about their adventure. They also spread the message of friendship and cooperation among all the animals in the jungle. They live
d happily ever after.
The End
